Smart Campus Solution

In order to solidly promote the Action Plan for Education Informatization 2.0, the Ministry of Education issued the "Norms for the Construction of Digital Campus in Higher Education Institutions (Trial)" in March 2021, which put forward multiple requirements for the construction of digital campus in higher education institutions, including infrastructure, information security, and application services. The MapGIS smart campus solution integrates information technologies such as artificial intelligence, big data, the Internet of Things, and digital twins to build an intelligent campus with full space 3D visualization and intelligent perception, achieving fine management of campus infrastructure and providing strong support for building a safe and smart campus.

  Data Aggregation and Processing  

Campus 2D Data: Analyze, transform, store, process features, color maps, decorate maps, and publish campus vector map data, image map data, 2D pipeline data, etc., to form a basic geographic database that meets system requirements.

Campus 3D Data: Create 3D models of the entire campus or key local areas, underground parking lots, key building interior scenes, and comprehensive pipelines, including 3D geometric modeling, texture data collection, and attribute data collection, to support campus 3D scene construction.

Campus Thematic Data: Collect location and graphic information of infrastructure (classrooms, parking lots, signs...) and campus data (real estate, teaching equipment...), forming business thematic data tables to assist campus information management and display.

Campus IoT Sensing Data: Connect to IoT sensing devices to access real-time video surveillance data, video intelligent recognition information, vehicle recognition systems, access control system information, and pipeline monitoring instrument data, achieving real-time campus IoT sensing.

  Campus 3D Overview  

Based on 3D visualization maps and IoT sensing information, comprehensively present campus operational status, providing users with immediate and comprehensive information support to enhance campus intelligence and smart levels.

Serving campus management departments, faculty and students, and external visitors: Display the distribution of campus units, living facilities, and buildings through 3D scenes, providing intuitive information presentation for school managers, campus faculty and students, and visitors, offering convenient information guidance for new arrivals.

Serving campus logistics management units: Utilize 3D visualization and IoT dynamic sensing technology to perceive campus infrastructure and asset status in real-time, providing an efficient management platform for campus operation and maintenance units to assist in achieving refined operation management.

Serving campus security departments: Utilize 3D visualization and IoT dynamic sensing technology to access video surveillance facilities, vehicle recognition systems, access control systems, and other security equipment information, perceiving campus security status to provide effective means for routine campus security management and major event security.

  Campus Asset Management  

Connect with asset management systems to support asset viewing, statistics, and analysis in 3D scenes, providing campus management departments with more intuitive asset management methods to achieve refined campus asset management.

  Campus Comprehensive Pipelines  

Integrate campus comprehensive pipeline data, using above-ground and underground integrated technology to achieve dynamic visual management of campus comprehensive pipelines, effectively supporting emergency response to sudden failures and providing scientific methods for campus infrastructure operation and maintenance.

  Campus Security Management  

Based on 3D visualization maps, connect campus video surveillance systems, vehicle recognition systems, access control systems, and other IoT sensing systems, equipped with mobile patrol devices, to provide security information display, comprehensive analysis, and auxiliary emergency decision-making capabilities for routine campus security and major event security.
