On the morning of July 3rd, more than 80 students from the Geographic Information and Remote Sensing related majors of the School of Earth Science and Technology at Zhengzhou University, led by professional mentors, visited Wuhan Zhongdi Science and Technology Park for an exchange visit. Relevant responsible persons from Zondy Digital provided warm reception. This event aimed to deepen the industry-academia-research cooperation between universities and enterprises, expand students' industry perspectives, and focus on the cutting-edge development of artificial intelligence in the GIS field. 

At the beginning of the event, the Zhengzhou University teachers and students visited the MapGIS Science Popularization and Culture Museum. With detailed introductions from the guides, they followed the historical development of GIS in China to gain in-depth understanding of MapGIS's glorious journey from birth and growth to becoming a domestic GIS benchmark, as well as its core technical advantages. This historical journey not only deepened the students' identification with their major but also allowed them to intuitively feel the resilient power behind technological innovation.

Subsequently, the teachers and students visited Zhongdi Digital's office environment on-site, gaining detailed understanding of the company's departmental collaborative operation model and its unique positioning in the GIS industry chain. They particularly analyzed the core requirements for talent skills and qualities in the current GIS industry, providing practical reference for the students' future career planning.

After the visit, Zhongdi Digital comprehensively showcased the company's development strategy, core product matrix, diversified industry solutions, and innovative ecological cooperation model to all teachers and students. The introduction focused on elaborating Zhongdi Digital's strategic planning and core initiatives in "talent ecosystem" construction, emphasizing that Zhongdi Digital is an enterprise that originated from universities and inherently possesses the gene and sentiment for talent cultivation. By detailing this year's competition format and rules, it demonstrated the competition's irreplaceable role in connecting universities and enterprises, promoting GIS teaching reform, stimulating students' enthusiasm for innovative practice, and cultivating practical and compound talents needed by the industry. It also encouraged students to seize opportunities, actively participate in the competition, put theoretical learning into practice, and hone excellent professional skills.

Focusing on cutting-edge technology fields, Zhongdi Digital brought a "GIS+AI Dual-Core Intelligent Transformation" themed sharing to the teachers and students. The report introduced the latest progress of MapGIS platform in AI technology in an accessible manner, demonstrating how AI empowers geographic spatial data processing, intelligent analysis, scenario simulation, and decision support, and vividly interpreted the tremendous potential and broad prospects of "AI+GIS" with actual innovative application cases in fields such as smart cities and natural resources.

This event specially arranged a teacher exchange session. Key faculty representatives from Zhengzhou University's GIS major had in-depth discussions with Zhongdi Digital's technical experts, ecological partners, and marketing responsible persons. Both sides conducted in-depth dialogue on key issues of industry-education integration such as GIS major curriculum construction, experimental teaching reform, and student joint training, jointly exploring new models and paths for future cooperation.
